51. Life is about the process.
50. I love running, but I spent so many years (figuratively) running that sometimes I forget how to (literally) run.
49. I love doing yoga, but don't do it nearly often enough.
48. I want to go to Eastern Europe/Central Asia and knit with the womyn there and listen to their stories. I hope that happens through the Peace Corps. If not, I'm going anyway. Sometime.
47. I love listening to the stories of others. I want to be a storyteller myself someday.
46. I am now friends with the first womyn I EVER had a cruch on. Shi doesn't know that I ever liked hir. I couldn't tell hir. I'd be too shy about it. Shi's mostly straight.
45. I was engaged once. Big mistake.
44. My mothir doesn't claim me, and I am slowly beginning to accept that as fact. It is hard, but it is the truth.
43. I believe in the Goddess, but sometimes I forget.
42. I belong to the Headwaters Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bemidji MN, and have been a member since 2001.
41. I had a breast reduction in December of 2004. I turned twenty in Janury of 2005 with the same size breasts as when I was nine years old.
40. I'm a self-identified femme. Some would argue that point. I just put on my six-inch spiked domme heels and a thigh-high split skirt. They don't argue anymore.
39. I am allergic to the oils that my leg hair produces. So, I have to shave. I'm okay with that.
38. I love sex. I hate sex. I am tired of being an object for others.
37. I am offered a place carrying the GIANT leather flag in the TC Pride Parade this year. I haven't decided yet if I will do it.
36. Most people do things that are really BDSM related, and would never consider them to be connected. I learned that the hard way.
35. I ventured into the SM world for a time. I learned a lot about myself. I don't need to be constantly integrated into the Scene, but an occasional foray into is nice.
34. I have four adopted mothirs. One for each direction: Earth, Air, Water, Fire. I love them all dearly, and wouldn't be where I am today without their love and support.
33. I'm not going to make it to fifty.
32. I DO NOT HATE MEN. Most of the time.
31. I appreciate people who recognize the importance of womyn's space. I think it is vital for the genders to not always be together. I just don't always want to be around men.
30. Lesbians make me happy. Dykes make me happy. Couples make me even happier.
29. I love to house-sit for other people. I try hard not to snoop through their things (only kidding ... I don't snoop), and I find it fascinating to learn how others live. I think that's part of why I want to join the Peace Corps.
28. There are a lot of things I would like to do and don't. Maybe that says something about me ...
27. I have wanted to spin my entire life. My spindle is not weighted properly, and I would like to find a teacher.
26. I have three favorite Girl Scout cookies: Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, and Caramel Delights (Samoas). I'll eat the others, but only if I have to.
25. I have wanted to read "The Artist's Way" since I first heard about it, but I still haven't. People tell me I need my own copy to write in and stuff, but it hasn't happened yet.
24. I love knitting as art, not just as function. I'm working on some pieces now that have the "art" principle.
23. I love knitting shawls. I wish I had a knitting guru who could teach me things about knitting, but I don't, so I just knit.
22. I'm hell-bent on making it to 50 this time around.
21. I am a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of the USA. I was once a delegate to the National Meeting, and a Board Member of my local council. Now I carry the card in my wallet.
20. I'm in love, but it's unrequited. And shi's older than me. By more than most people would think acceptable.
19. I hate making decisions that directly affect other people. Don't ask me where to eat, what to eat, what to do, or where to go. I can't decide. Unless I'm vehemently opposed, I'm pretty easy-going.
18. I have mostly-straight hair, with a little wave around the ears, and I have watnted curly hair my entire life. I begged for a perm all my childhood (to no avail), and now that I'm capable of making the decision myself, I haven't the money to do it, and I can't decided if I really want to or not.
17. I forget what I have put on here. I forget very little. I remember mundane, often trivial things that make people look at me in wonder and some sort of confusion.

Another Random Addition
16. I was sitting at my computer, and my step sister, whom I have NEVER met, IM's me. We talk for, like, two hours.
It is a strange and surreal feeling.

First Items ... *Or, a continuation ...*
3. I love Virginia Woolf. Everything about her, everything she wrote, everything about her life. I eventually want to have a complete collection of her work. So far I only have Mrs. Dalloway and A Room of One's Own. The next two I want are A Writer's Life and the first volume of her diary.
2. I am very good at forgetting that I have this list to create. In fact, I am often very good at forgetting a lot of things. However, I am also very good at remembering extrememly mundane and usually trivial things, like details about what people are wearing, or the four blue cars that passed my window in ten minutes. Yeah. That's it.

I keep losing this blog ...
Okay, so I'm going to try this again. I really want to create this list of 100 things, and I hope I get it done soon.
1. I am a dyke. I always have been, and I always will be. No matter how I have presented myself (engaged or whatnot), I am always and will be a dyke.

Okay, so eventually, my list of 100 Things about me will go here, but I am not ready to put that up yet. So this will have to do for now:
I'm a bitch
I'm a lover
I'm a child
I'm a mother
I'm a sinner
I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed ...
